Living for Christ

Today’s reflection:

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and savior we become a new creation in Christ, so why are so many Christians’ walking around entangled in a web like a spider living in sin. When we give are life to Christ it’s not a one-time thing, and that’s all you have to do. it’s a daily walk sometimes an hourly walk. You have to feed your spirit with the word of God and through prayer and not just reading it but actually following the steps God commands. You can read the bible front to back and actually memorize it but if you don’t apply it to every situation then what’s the point of even reading it? Christians stay entangled because there not doing what God tells them to do. It’s called free will. We have a choice. You can either walk in Gods will for your life or continue living in sin. Which on judgement day those who are disobedient will answer for it. So, make a decision today. Follow Jesus or follow your own way. The only thing that can untangle you and set you free is Jesus! When you stand in front of God on judgement day, what do you want to hear? I know what I want to hear, well done good and faithful servant. You need to be in Gods will for your life, not your own. A double minded man deserves nothing from God, so chose to get off of the fence today.

Today’s prayer:

Father I come to you asking for your forgiveness. Cleanse me of all unrighteousness. Untangle me from everything that is not of you and deliver me from all sin in my life. Change me oh Lord. Help me to walk in your perfect will for my life. Help me to lean not on my own understanding but in all my ways acknowledge you so you will direct my path. Break any entanglement that’s holding me back and keeping me from your blessings. In Jesus Mighty Name Amen

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

James 1:7-8 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
