Have you ever had a day that you know has changed your life forever, a day that you would do anything to black out, just fast-forward past?
Have you ever felt like you’ve beaten your fists bloody on Heaven’s door, trying to get the owner to open it to give you bread?
Life at times feels so unfair. While one person is dying another has just won the lottery for big money. One person seems to touch everything and it turns to gold while another touches things and it turns out bad.
This message is to remind you to never forget God even when the day is at its worst, even when things have gone so badly that you are in the dark and alone.
Keep reading as this story is loaded full of encouragement.
Remember Paul and Silas? They were in a dark prison on the bad day beyond all bad days and what do we find them doing? Praying and singing hymns. What did God do? Because they came to Him in their midnight hour praying and singing God set them free and their chains fell off.
As this faith still remains today here is another powerful situation. A man by the name of Richard was in prison and got saved while being in there. Later, he came out and started a ministry and found his wife and they got married. Life seemed to be going alright until one day. Richard came home to find his house burning down. Richard didn’t know what to do at first until he remembered that in everything we are suppose to rejoice. The Holy Spirit took Robert and he started running up and down the sidewalk screaming “Well Glory! Glory! Glory! Then started singing. Many people witnessed this. People confronted him wanting what he had. He had the opportunity to share Jesus Christ. Even though Robert didn’t know why his house was burning down he just knew God had a plan and he was part of it. Instead of being beaten down he rose up because he knew God was about to send a blessing and he was going to receive it. God did bless Richard and his ministry. He also ministers in the school system telling young kids about the dangers of drugs and gangs. When he is done he tells the kids about the life changing, saving Grace of Jesus Christ even after the authorities tell him not to.
Are you ready in your midnight hour to trust in God enough to start praying and singing? Do you trust God and God alone to deliver you? My friends, are you ready for a blessing? And in doing so are you ready to give others a blessing as well?
I am closing with this:
I want to challenge you to never let an opportunity to praise God slip away. I want to let you know that Everytime we give God the Glory we are witnessing to those around us in a way that otherwise would have been lost. Fear not, and sing letting others hear you! Let’s save one soul at a time by being obedient and willing. People are watching and they will want what you have….time to share the Gospel. God Bless you as you stay encouraged and keep your trust in God no matter what may come.
